New Nazareth novelty shop aims to make patrons ‘Comfy Cozy’

Comfy Cozy Apothecary, 40 S. Main St., plans to open in mid-June 2023 in downtown Nazareth. It's moving into a 750-square-foot space that previously occupied Slate Structural Engineers. The engineering company is seeking another larger space in the borough, said Comfy Cozy owner Jennie Brown.

The goal behind a new downtown Nazareth novelty shop is for its patrons to walk away feeling a sense of calm and comfort.

Comfy Cozy Apothecary, located at 40 S. Main St., believes "there's a bit of magic in everything," according to its tagline, and will be offering items to nourish the "mind, body, home and spirit." The store, which owner Jennie Brown is aiming to open in mid-June, will have displays lined with artisan candles, crystals, bath salts, yoga supplies and journals. Brown is utilizing other area small business owners both regionally and nationally to source the shop.
